Can you please indicate which driver would be the correct one to install on Windows 8. Hi Graham, have a look again. I thought it was the driver for a long time until it hit me try a quality usb cable. Now I need to get in touch with them. OEM capture works for video but does not look like it includes sound. Does anyone have any ideas that might help?

Be carefull recording takes a lot of place on hard disk. I cant get XP edition to work either. Once you open VLC, you click on the media tab. Once the firmware is loaded, the device ID changes to 1c Ask a Question Usually answered in minutes!

The 1 channel version works though.

Then the system do not allow to change it to any other driver provided within this page. The usb cable that attaches to it and then you plug the other end to the computer.

Up to drivers not work!!! I found empia 28xx driver easyca working on windows Did you ever get a solution for Windows 8? Really a pain in the ass. I have the software you mentioned Easier Cap DC usbtv and while it does produce both video and audio without problems, there is still an issue with the picture aspect using this driver.

I was able to get mine functioning.

Unfortunately it’s hard to tell more without knowing more details on the problem system logs, etc. As soon as I close it, it pops right back out.

The software I use on Windows XP works reasonably well but has limitations. Because it has attracted low-quality or spam answers that had to be removed, posting an answer now requires 10 reputation on this site the association bonus does not count.

I tried fasycap the drivers, but it is not successful.
